My journey from a furniture maker to a kitchen head in PagarBook is not less than a story.
Being born and brought up in Assam, I started working as a carpenter after dropping out of secondary school due to weak financial conditions.
But my life took a sudden turn when my mother was ill and I could not arrange enough money for her. It was then, I decided to come to Bangalore with my brother-in-law and likewise came in contact with Adarsh sir(CEO, PagarBook).
Initially, things were quite different for me as I have never managed more than 5 people at a time.
Likewise, Cooking for so many people who are from different parts of the country, was quite difficult initially, but thankfully I managed to keep everyone happy by maintaining good food quality and varieties in my menu.
My most favorite thing in PagarBook is Foosball, which naturally attracted me as I have been a football player like my father during my school time and I can never get enough of it.
Bangalore had been a kind place for me especially because Adarsh sir and Rupesh sir (PagarBook Co-Founders) have always supported me through thick and thin, be it through COVID or any other phase.
My farms and family have always kept me attached to Assam. I am eagerly looking forward to the day when I can visit Assam with the PagarBook team and make our famous tea for them.
